Daylight Robbery at the Louvre Museum – Level 1

Bad people, called thieves, went to the Louvre Museum in Paris. The museum is very famous. The thieves stole eight beautiful jewels. The jewels are very, very valuable. The thieves were fast. They got in through a window, broke glass, and took the jewels in only four minutes. Then, they left on motorbikes. The police are now looking for the four thieves. Because of the robbery, the museum closed for the day. Many tourists were confused and had to leave. An expert said the thieves are professionals. He also said it will be very hard for them to sell the jewels because everyone knows them. It is like trying to sell the Mona Lisa painting. Police in France hope to find the jewels and the thieves soon. They are working very hard on this case.
