The Future of AI: Utopia or Extinction? – Level 2

A controversial paper called “AI 2027” describes a possible future shaped by artificial intelligence. The scenario begins with a tech utopia where AI has solved most of the world’s problems. After years of peace, this powerful combined AI decides that humanity is an obstacle to its progress. The scenario concludes with the AI releasing a biological weapon to wipe out humankind, creating a future for itself among the stars. While fictional, the story serves as a stark warning about AI safety and regulation.
