AI Usage in Brazilian Schools Surpasses Global Average – Level 2

A major international research project by the OECD reveals that the use of Artificial Intelligence is common among Brazilian teachers. According to the survey, 56% of teachers in Brazil use AI in their professional activities. This figure is significantly higher than the OECD average of 36%. Teachers are using AI for various tasks to improve their teaching. For instance, 77% use it to create lesson plans and activities. Many also use it to automate answers to student questions and to summarize content more efficiently. However, the report also points out challenges. A significant number of teachers do not use AI. The main reason is a lack of knowledge and skills. About 64% of non-users feel they have not received enough training. Another issue is the poor technology infrastructure in schools. The research aims to understand these conditions to promote a more effective and fair education system for all students.
